Advisory from the Douglas County Sheriff: Advising of a working fire at the recycling plant located in the 200 block of Urban Industrial Way just east of East Wenatchee. We are warning of thick black smoke from Diesel/Hydraulic Fluid which is still burning on site. The fire is contained, but not yet extinguished. Please be aware of the smoke as wind conditions can change. If affected, please close windows, turn off HVAC systems, or take other precautions as needed.
