The closure of 6th Street SE has been extended through 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, due to delays in scheduling concrete and paving contractors. Paving is now scheduled for Thursday, June 12, 2025.
This closure supports the safe and efficient installation of utilities and road improvements associated with the Orchard Vista Subdivision on the north side of 6th Street SE.
Traffic Impacts:
The intersection of 6th Street SE and S Perry Avenue will reopen on temporary travel surfaces.
The remainder of the work zone will remain closed to through traffic.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
A signed detour route will remain posted for the duration of the closure.
