Beginning Sunday, June 1, 2025, Douglas County residents will be prohibited from burning yard debris and other combustible materials as part of the annual burn ban, which remains in effect through October 1, 2025, in accordance with Douglas County Code 8.12.010.
Not allowed during the ban:
• Burning of yard debris
• Burning of any other combustible materials
Still permitted:
• Residential campfires
• Commercial barbecues
• Camp stoves
