Effective October 1, 2024 the Douglas County burn ban is lifted for unincorporated areas of the County.
Burning piles of natural debris must only be 4ft x 4ft x 4ft
Fires must be attended at all times
Burning yard waste such as leaves, grass, brush, and other yard trimmings is allowed
The fire must be extinguished by dusk
