The Douglas County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department creates and maintains interactive web maps with publicly-accessible information such as roads, parcels, urban growth areas, city and district boundaries, and more.

Interactive Web Map

The Interactive Web Map has geographic layers and information on Douglas County’s tax parcel ownership, tax parcel sales, public lands, building addresses, roads, cities, and towns, the digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), soils, land use planning layers, a few special election district boundaries, voting precincts, townships & sections, water features, and aerial photos.

Use the Search tool to find information for any of the following: 

  • 11-digit tax parcel numbers, 
  • last names of tax parcel owners, 
  • situs or building addresses, 
  • road names.

Elections Web Map

The Elections Interactive Web Map has geographic layers and information on Douglas County’s election ballot drop box locations, voting precincts, building addresses, special election districts, road names, tax parcels, cities & towns, townships & sections, and aerial photos. 

Use the Search tool to find information for any of the following: 

  • building addresses, 
  • voting precincts, 
  • road names, 
  • election ballot drop-off locations.

Road Restrictions Map

The Road Restrictions Map has information on road restrictions in Douglas County that include: bridge restrictions, road closures, vehicle weight restrictions, and large closure areas, as well as detour routes, roads, sections, tax parcels, and cities & towns.

Map Features & Tools

The features and tools vary by map, but generally speaking, you'll be able to:

  • Easily zoom and pan around the interactive maps
  • Use the layer list to turn layers on and off
  • Use the measurement tool to measure a line or an area
  • Use the drawing tool (on select maps) to draw features
  • Print a map by exporting to PDF
