  • Road Closure - NW Cascade Ave - 32nd St NW to 33rd St NW  (9/12/22 - 9/26/22)

NW Cascade Ave, from 32nd St NW to 33rd St NW, will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday, 9/12/22, through 7 p.m. Monday, 9/26/22. The purpose of the closure is to allow for the safe and efficient installation of buried utilities for a private subdivision. A signed detour route will be available, and local access will be provided at all times.   • Road Intersection Closure - 8th NE at N Lyle  (9/12/22 - 9/16/22)

The intersection of 8th St NE and N Lyle will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday, 9/19/22, through 7 p.m. Friday, 9/16/22. The purpose of the closure is to allow for the safe and efficient installation of buried utilities for a private subdivision. A signed detour route will be available, and local access will be provided at all times.   • Road Closure - N Lyle Ave  (9/12/22 - 10/11/22)

N Lyle Ave, from 8th St NE to 9th St NE, will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday, 9/12/22, through 7 p.m. Tuesday, 10/11/22. The purpose of the closure is to allow for the safe and efficient installation of buried utilities for a private subdivision. The closure also provides for reconstruction of the roadway, including critical stormwater infrastructure, and roadway re-alignment of this section of N Lyle Ave. A signed detour route will be available, and local access will be provided at all times.   • Sun Cove (8/22/22 - 9/30/22)

The Douglas County PUD will have a contractor working in Sun Cove to complete the build-out of their fiber network in that development.  The work will occur in various sections of all the roads in Sun Cove, aka Lake Entiat Estates.  The work will start on Monday, August 22, 2022, and the PUD estimates completion around the end of September.  While the contractor has not yet announced their daily schedule, allowed working hours are 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.  At this time, there is no plan to close the roads.  However, there will be noticeable impact to circulation.  The contractor will provide local access for residents and services at all times.  For questions or concerns regarding traffic control, or specifics about fiber service, contact the DCPUD at 509-884-7191.  The contractor, Cascade Cable Constructors, may be reached at 509-244-2501.

  • 10th St NE  (6/07/22 - 11/0/22)

10th St NE, from N Stark Ave, eastward to its termination, will be closed to through traffic from 6 a.m. June 7, 2022, through 7 p.m. September 9, 2022.  No detour is defined because this is currently a dead-end, unimproved Right-of-Way.  Local access will be provided.  The purpose of the closure is to allow for the safe and efficient construction of the new portion of 10th St NE, which will eventually connect to Urban Industrial Way, as part of the Microsoft expansion project.  For questions or concerns, contact Carl Nations of Advantage Dirt Contractors, at (509) 929-2113, or carln@advantagedirt.com.
