2022 Redistricting

2022 Precinct Changes

Douglas County has adopted new precinct boundaries. The new precinct lines will be in effect for the August 2, 2022 Primary Election.

Congressional and Legislative lines were approved by the Washington State Redistricting Commission in November of 2021 and amended by the legislature on Feb. 8, 2022. The Douglas County Commissioners approved the new precinct lines on April 18, 2022.

The boundaries are a result of the 2020 census. Precincts have been adjusted or changed to align with new county commissioner, legislative and congressional boundaries. Both the county and state were required to redistrict based on the census to balance population between the election districts. The new boundaries resulted in precinct changes. Douglas County now has a total of 49 precincts. Prior to these changes we had a total of 47 precincts.
