Grant Road Resurfacing - Quincy to Urban Industrial

Grant Road is a critical route that connects the urban areas of East Wenatchee to the Pangborn Regional Airport and the rapidly growing industrial complex located in the area. Current conditions show pavement surface condition (PSC) scores ranging from 22 to 89 across the project corridor. High truck traffic due to the industrial area causes increased deterioration that results in a 5 to 10 point drop in PSC scores every two years. Rather than addressing spot locations where the pavement is currently in poor condition, this project would resurface the entire stretch even the portions that have higher PSC scores, but it is expected that these portions will deteriorate more rapidly over the next 4-5 years. Overall, this project will extend the service life of this stretch of Grant Rd by 8-10 years and reduce future maintenance costs significantly.
