Who are we . . .
The membership of the NCW Fair Board is comprised of individuals from within Douglas County that have an interest in the planning, development and execution of the annual North Central Washington Fair. The committee is appointed by the Douglas County Board of Commissioners in a voluntary capacity and acts in an advisory role to the NCW Fair Manager and the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. These individuals bring a variety of skills, talents and career experiences and come together for one common purpose: The success and continuation of the NCW Fair. This board meets each month on the second Thursday at 6:00PM in the community hall on the fairgrounds. This board is heavily involved in creating a master plan for the future of the NCW Fair which should always reflect the educational and entertainment needs of the fair and its attendees. They also advise on many topics including; safety issues, building rentals, fair entertainment, facility improvements and fair related issues.
